Vehicles we accept in Colorado

Cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, RVs — running or not, clean title or complicated.

At Ride to Relief, we believe that every vehicle has the potential to make a difference, whether it's drivable or not. We accept a wide variety of vehicles to support our mission of connecting Colorado residents with essential benefits. From cars and trucks to motorcycles and RVs, every donation helps fund our free services that assist neighbors in accessing vital programs like SNAP and Health First Colorado. Letting go of an unwanted vehicle has never been easier — and it contributes to a greater cause.

Categories we accept

Cars & Sedans
1995-present

Donating cars and sedans usually results in a sale at auction, where the proceeds directly support our research service. If not suitable for sale, they may be recycled for parts.

With many Coloradans relying on their sedans for daily commuting, your donation can ensure more families access resources that improve their quality of life.

Pickup Trucks
1995-present

Pickup trucks are often sold at auction or dismantled for parts. Their sturdy builds can fetch good prices, which helps fund local benefits programs.

In rural Colorado, pickups are essential for work and recreation, making your donation a key resource for supporting local families.

SUVs & Crossovers
1995-present

SUVs and crossovers are frequently auctioned off or recycled, providing funds that directly support our community outreach and research efforts.

With families and adventurers alike enjoying the outdoors, your donated SUV can help keep vital resources available for those in need.

Motorcycles
1995-present

Motorcycles are generally auctioned or sold for parts, generating funds that contribute to local benefit programs in Colorado.

From mountain roads to city commutes, motorcycles are a beloved aspect of Colorado life, making your donation particularly impactful.

RVs & Campers
1995-present

RVs and campers that are donated can be auctioned off or repurposed for their parts, with profits supporting our mission.

RVs are popular for exploring Colorado’s scenic routes, and your donation can help provide crucial assistance to local families.

Boats
1995-present

Boats can be auctioned or sold for parts, with proceeds benefiting our services that connect neighbors with needed programs.

Even if Colorado isn't coastal, many love boating on our beautiful lakes, and your donation makes a splash for local families.

Commercial Vehicles
1995-present

Commercial vehicles are often sold at auction or salvaged for parts, providing funds that help our local outreach efforts.

With the strong entrepreneurial spirit in Colorado, your donated commercial vehicle can support services that empower local businesses and families.

Non-running Vehicles
Any year

Even non-running vehicles can be valuable, often recycled or sold for parts, with proceeds supporting our mission.

In Colorado, many have classic cars or project vehicles that can no longer run — your donation can help clear out old projects while assisting neighbors in need.

Condition guide

When donating a vehicle, we recognize the variety of conditions they may be in. Running vehicles are straightforward; they can be sold at auction or used directly. Non-running vehicles, however, are still valuable as they can be recycled or used for parts. Donors should not worry if a vehicle doesn't currently function; we can still help!

It’s important to understand title statuses, too. Clean titles are accepted without issue, while salvage titles may have restrictions based on the vehicle's condition. If you have a rebuilt or reconstructed title or a vehicle with a lienholder present, we'll evaluate these on a case-by-case basis. A missing title may complicate matters, but we encourage you to reach out for options!

Pickup considerations

At Ride to Relief, we understand that some vehicles may be immobile or located in challenging settings, such as apartments or rural properties. Our team is equipped to handle pickups in various scenarios, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience. Whether your vehicle is parked on a busy street or tucked away in a secluded spot, we work diligently to make arrangements that fit your needs and ensure the donation process is as easy as possible.
